Writer Embarks on Month-Long Road Trip Attending Court Hearings Across United States

Author James Lasdun undertook a month-long journey across the United States last autumn, attending criminal and civil court hearings in courthouses throughout the country. The road trip, which Lasdun had been planning for years, aimed to observe as many different types of legal proceedings as possible across various regions.
